WebDisappointed with my P1 Gen 4 with i9 and 3080 Received my P1 Gen 4 on 11/4 (ordered on 7/31) and I'm pretty disappointed so far considering how much it costs. First, I'm seeing heavy throttling while playing FS 2024 (most at ultra). All cores are clocked down to 798Mhz and the temps are around 80C while the fan is just at full blast. WebRTX 3060, 3070 and 3080 are limited to 80W in the Extreme Gen4, so the 3080 hasn´t to much sense (probably only has sense if you need 16GB VRAM for your workflow) besides that it is a very thin laptop so the cooling system even if the vapor chamber work great, cann´t compete with real gaming laptops. 8 Reply [deleted] • 1 yr. ago
