Second monitor stuck at 60hz
Web21 Feb 2024 · It can display 4K at 60Hz if "Extend" the desktop, i.e. use both my XPS 13 9560 and U2723QE at the same time. But it is stuck at 4K 30Hz if "Second screen only" is used, i.e. display only on U2723QE. That does not seem to make sense? I have to set "USB-C Prioritization" to High Resolution with my XPS 13 9560 Web23 May 2024 · I connect it with the HDMI cable that was included to the monitor. Web17 Sep 2024 · Go to system prefs -> Display -> CMD+click on the "Scaled" radio box to see hidden UI options. Enable "Show low resolution modes" > to see the resolutions I could select there was another check box for "Show Low resolution modes". Now the hidden "Refresh rate" drop down should appear. Web23 Dec 2024 · The second one is not able to go above 1920X1080. I have tried all possible combinations, including proper cabling (DP 1.4). Also tried with other monitors, other WD19 and other Latitude 3510 - nothing helps. It works if I connect one of the monitors via HDMI (and keeps the other one via DP and WD19). It runs fine by itself at 144hz using DVI but when I try to run my other monitor with it it locks the 144hz monitor at 60hz. I can't change the refresh rate as it only shows the 60hz monitor under display settings.
Web26 Apr 2024 · Try a different GPU driver by at least 6 months or a year difference if possible. Try the latest one if on a much older driver. Try the driver direct from the manufacturer or from Windows update whichever is opposite. Try a different output type if possible as well if the monitor and GPU out offer it. If you are already using a straight-through connection, you can also check whether your monitor has this setting on: HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Color.
