WebAlso, on the mini-map there is a monster icon with a small yellow or red symbol on it. If the symbol is yellow you can clutch claw them *as long as they aren't doing attacks or big movements with that part. If the symbol is red you can still mount and tenderize, but flinch shot will not work to make wall slams happen.

The endgame monster offerings completely blow the base game out of the water. They are so much better it makes MHW's paltry offerings look a little pathetic.
